TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY WAR!
This is the song I wrote on September 17, 2001, six days after the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and recorded on October 6. I couldn’t stop thinking that these attacks would bring the United States to war. The Soviet Union, the cold war, the Berlin wall were all ten years behind us. It was one of the most peaceful times in recent history. But, as I mention in the song, nuclear weapons still existed, and I feared that the third World War was on the horizon. So far, thankfully, I was wrong.
